Dessins, April 1993
Admittedly, this isn't the funniest cartoon I've ever drawn, far from it. This one
is a bit too predictable. But, what the hey; it was prom season. The junior/senior prom
was on people's minds, including my own. Ironically, I didn't go to the prom in 1993.
Instead, a group of friends and myself got together and watched Stanley Kubrick's classic
film 2001: A Space Odyssey and ate ice cream. Lest you worry too much about
my social life, the following year I actually did ask a girl to the prom. When she said no, I
asked another girl. Then another. The third one said yes. Now, that's another
story entirely.
