This one was quite a hit in its day. I'd get solicitations from friends and acquaintances to draw Edward Chickenhands in their notebooks. And on occasion I'd draw him on random classroom chalkboards, just as a shameless form of self-publicity. It got to the point where I could whip out an Edward Chickenhands in less than two minutes, so frequently did I draw him. Alas, like the movie that inspired it, the fame of Edward Chickenhands has likewise faded with the years.
