Calculus I drew the first draft of this cartoon one afternoon after a particularly frustrating bout of electromagnetic physics homework. I showed it to my professor, who thought it was funny and suggested that we make "Physics 122 Class T-Shirts" for the students to purchase. I thought that was a fun idea, so I re-drew the picture on clear white paper, with thick boldface ink strokes, to more easily be transferred to fabric.

The T-shirts came in two designs, this one and one featuring my Trigonometry Comic. The back of the T-shirt had some equations on it that the professor thought were funny. The T-shirts sold well that semester, and I always felt a little thrill of excitement whenever I'd see someone I didn't know wearing the T-shirt, because it meant they bought it 'cuz they liked it and not because they felt obligated to out of friendship to me.
