I am a family man, first and foremost. My wife's name is Maria; she is my very best friend. The photograph on the left is a portrait of our family in November 2018. (For those interested, Maria's brother has put together a nice website about their family history.)
I am currently employed as a professor of computer science in the Faculty of Math & Computing at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. See my Teaching page for my current class schedule. You're welcome to have a look at my Research page for a smattering of my projects both past and present.
My two favorite hobbies are writing video games and drawing cartoons. For samples of my work, please refer to my Games, Stories, and Cartoons pages. If you enjoy French poetry, be sure to check out my Anna Livebardon fansite.
I am a practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Please check out the Church-related links below.
But enough about me. Since you're here, though, feel free browse around my site and see what you find.
